Native Trees Supply & Transplantation

OUR EXPERIENCES

Extended period of slow growth, in which the tree may exhibit signs of dieback, reduced foliage, shorter twig and root elongation. Transplant shock results from water stress I imbalance, caused by loss of water absorbing root capacity.

Root pruning prior to transplanting increases the chances of survival. Pruning generate new (fine) water absorbing roots close to the trunk which are then captured in the root ball when transplanted. New roots also increase storage capacity for carbohydrate required for re-growth. typically to try and correct water imbalance, by growing new roots and minimizing water loss

TRANSPLANTATION METHODOLOGY

Crown pruning reduces potential water loss,
and can help maintain water balance, offsetting loss of water absorption capacity from root pruning. Extent of crown pruning recommended to be kept to a minimum ( <25% at most). Side effects of crown pruning include: Reduced photosynthate production-potentially slower root growth.

INTRODUCTION

Moving Ghat or other Trees from one location to another site operation digging successfully condition

  • Due to stress result from removal of substantial portion of transplanted Techniques and care-proper soil preparation, planting methods, follow-up care. trees root system moving replanting need to transplant
  • Duplicate the original conditions as closely as possible, to reduce stress on the tree.
  • Overgrown original location
Soil type, planting depth, staking, watering and mulching Transplant shock.
  • Move from one site to another better suited
  • The process of digging and transplanting puts a lot of stress on the tree.
  • Save it from construction / road.

KEY CRITERIA

The first step to move tree from location to other location must start to know:

  • Which type of tree you are going to move
  • Type of its root system
  • Type of the soil
  • Size of trees
